**Plan Manager (NDIS)**

**Salary range**: $73,795.00 -$79,135.00 + superannuation. Fringe Benefits included. (SCHADS Level 3)

**Contract**: Full-time. Fixed-term contract for **3 months**, with the possibility of extension.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a NDIS Plan Manager.
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software essential.
- Experience with Brevity Preferred
- Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
- Values that reflect the organisation’s - a commitment to social justice, inclusion, and equality.
- The ability to work with people with a disability, including effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Has, or is able to get, a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- 3 Covid19 vaccinations.

**Purpose of the position**

Hold responsibility for range of tasks and functions within the NDIS Plan Management and NDIS Compliance and Administration areas of the organisation, under the direction of the CLA Coordinator or delegate and with the support of the existing Plan Management Team.

To ensure people’s NDIS funding is used in accordance with their wishes and they are supported to manage the NDIS funding available to them.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Exercise responsibility for a range of tasks and functions within the NDIS Plan Management, Compliance and Administration areas of the organisation, under the general guidance and supervision of senior employees in those areas. Specifically:

- The management of individuals’ NDIS budgets (including assisting participants to understand and work within their budget).
- Processing and payment of invoices - both internal and external
- Data entry and record management in Brevity
- communication with providers re queries, enquiries
- generating monthly plan budget statements to send to participants/plan nominees
- Contribute to the interpretation of NDIS individualized budget and invoicing matters where there are no clearly established practices/procedures matters.
- Solve problems of limited difficulty relating to NDIS Plans, Budgets, Service Agreements, and Invoicing.
- Liaise with NDIS participants, their supporters, relevant CLA staff and external providers as required.

Support other Team Leaders who manage NDIS services to develop and finalise Service Agreements with NDIS participants.
- Employees in this role will be expected to have knowledge and skills in NDIS policy requirements, budgets and record management, Service Agreements, the processing and paying of invoices, alongside the systems used to execute these functions (Xero, Excel). Familiarity with Brevity is preferred, but training will be provided if required.
- Actively participate in, and contribute to, organisational processes including individual and peer supervision, team meetings, and other cross organisational training and development.
- Maintain record keeping such as case notes, minor expenditures, report writing and assist with programmatic / organisational data and reporting, including requirements of NDIS funding.
- Share administrative responsibilities (e.g., taking referrals, reception duties, locking up and recording at team meetings).
- Work autonomously, and where required, with support of the Plan Management team to fulfill the requirements of the role.

- Assistance will be available when problems occur that cannot be solved utilising developed knowledge and/or existing guidelines and procedures.
