**As Program Support Officer, you will specifically**:

- Facilitate communication between departmental service delivery and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to ensure programs and services provided to Indigenous young people are culturally appropriate.
- Develop, deliver and assist in the provision of programs, activities, and services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in detention.
- Assist and support case planning interventions and activities to ensure services and interventions are culturally appropriate.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in delivering programs and services to clients.
- Facilitate culturally significant events, in line with Queensland Reconciliation Action Plans
- Assist with the security and safety of the Centre by observance of operational procedures and standards as they impact on program delivery and the provision of other activities organised for young people.
- Provide high quality written reports, briefs, administrative duties and correspondence as required, using manual and computerised systems.
