Our Real Estate practice spans across property development and construction projects, capital transactions, acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, funds management and developer conveyancing with a particular focus on large property and infrastructure developments and real estate transactions across both the private and government sectors. **Your role**: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Legal Secretary within our Adelaide Real Estate team. This role is a full time permanent position supporting a Partner and three senior client facing staff, and providing high quality administrative support to enable our team to deliver market leading legal and consulting services. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced high performing secretary/assistant with solid experience in a corporate law firm environment. As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include: - File and document management, including matter opening and closing, matter administration management, electronic and physical filing, scanning, printing, photocopying and archiving - Document production to a high standard in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others within ME Style Guides. Format, edit and proofread documents with a high level of accuracy - Prepare and draft correspondence under supervision - Manage client specific and complex billing requirements, including client/matter reporting - Assist with general financial hygiene including debt collections, voucher requests, client and controlled monies, client reporting - Arrange general and trust account receipting and disbursing of funds - Undertake statutory searches - Make required travel arrangements and amendments to bookings within policy and cost guidelines - Reconciliation of corporate expenses - Other general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required **What you need**: - Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - The ability to clearly and confidently communicate at all levels and liaise confidently with the practice group - Advanced MS Word skills, including document creation and presentation - A demonstrated commitment to high internal/external service standards - An adaptable and flexible nature with a "can do" approach and strong work ethic - A proactive and positive approach with high levels of initiative - A team player to assist others as required **Why MinterEllison**: Some of the benefits you can enjoy working at MinterEllison include: - Free gym membership; - Opportunities for hybrid working to encourage balance and wellbeing; - Corporate partner discounts; - Learning and Development opportunities.
