This role is pivotal in providing both strategic and operational HR advice to drive a high-performing culture across the City.

**Reporting to the People Partnering Service Lead, you will**:

- Operate as a strategic HR partner to deliver technical and strategic advice across the employee lifecycle.
- Coach and support leaders to enhance their skills in people management and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning and development strategies to meet current and future needs.
- Manage HR-related casework, ensuring compliance with City policies and relevant legislation.
- Lead and contribute to key HR projects, aligning with business objectives and fostering a sustainable and high-performance culture.

**About You**

You should possess:

- The ability to coach, influence, and support managers on HR best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant employment related legislation, policies, and workforce planning strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and build relationships at all levels.
- An adaptive mindset, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quick learning capabilities, and a strong team player attitude.

**Eligibility**

***To be eligible for this role, you must have:

- A right to work in Australia.
- A valid ‘C’ class Australian driver’s licence.
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
- This is a pool recruitment process. This pool will run for a period of 12 months. This process may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts, secondments, acting and permanent opportunities (full and part time)._
