My client is a leading chemical company who combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility and have been doing so for over 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas.
**About the role**
This position is required to work with and support the team with the delivery of EHS operational services across Australia and New Zealand. This role encompasses work on some targeted improvement projects whilst providing support to EHS related queries.
**Duties**:
- Providing administrative support for the operational management of EHS queries received.
- Assist in compiling the monthly data to meet the local and global reporting requirements.
- Maintenance of the ANZ Systems SharePoint - to ensure accurate and up to date information is available to the ANZ business.
- Monitors and maintains the EHS administration documents (i.e. key contacts list, Emergency contact numbers etc)
- Liaison with representatives from across the business to coordinate the agenda and information for the EHS Consultative Committee meetings.
- Customer focus - maintain an active overview of the EHS inbox queries, timely allocation and data analytics.
- Support the EHS team in answering and providing advice on product safety and dangerous goods related queries.
- Liaison with external partners to identify and create services partners for compliance activities e.g training, emergency response etc.
- Provide administration support in the review and renewal of service contracts with external partners.
**About you**
This is an initial contract role (12 months in duration) with a chance of becoming made permanent or extended so we're looking for someone with the following:
- Minimum 1 year industry experience, knowledge and experience in highly regulated environments will be considered favourably.
- Experience in sustainable development and environment management is desirable.
- Experience in partnering with internal stakeholders.
- The ability to commit to a 12-month contract period.
