The role:
An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to join Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS), located at our head office in Mulgrave. This new role takes a technical lead within DTFS IT having a strong emphasis on integrating, maintaining and developing enterprise cloud infrastructure, cloud technologies and workplace solutions within DTFS Australia & DTFS Asia, thus enhancing the scalability, resilience, affordability, usability and security of DTFS’ IT ecosystems. Working in a local team & closely with our overseas business partners, this role is locally autonomous with regular communication with our local Service Operations Manager and regional Infrastructure team across the APAC region.
- Reporting into the Service Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining office IT Infrastructure through a 3rd party provider
- Planning, designing, and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's needs
- Automation of deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code for all cloud deployments
- Working with vendors and third-party service providers to procure IT hardware, software and services, as well as managing vendor relationships and contracts
- Assisting the business with O365 service configuration
- Responding to technical issues and providing infrastructure support to end-users or other IT teams
- Liaising with the regional infrastructure team on shared vendor performance, escalations and best practice
