**Role**

Kennedys is seeking a highly motivated Associate with 2-4 years' PQE to join our Insurance team based in our vibrant Sydney office.

Working closely with one of our specialist Partners, Llinos Kent this is a unique opportunity for a motivated Associate to gain hands-on exposure to coverage and defence work across various insurance lines.

The team in Sydney have extensive experience across multiple lines of insurance work, with a particular depth of expertise in professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors' and officers' (D&O), medical malpractice, public and product liability, property and construction, energy, cyber, marine, transport and employment.

You will join team of highly experienced Special Counsel, Senior Associates & fellow Associates whilst receiving first-class support from our dedicated Paralegals and Legal Secretaries - enabling you to thrive in the fast-paced world of insurance law.

n General insurers and reinsurers

n Lloyds syndicates

n Global Health Insurers

**Who we are looking for**:

- 2-4+ years' experience, with relevant defendant experience from a reputable insurance team
- Ability to run with matters autonomously under supervision
- You will possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrate the proven ability to manage your own time with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics
- Flexible attitude towards working practices and ability to adapt style as required
- A natural team player ready to assist and support colleagues where necessary
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine desire to further your career at Kennedys
