**About the role**
We are looking for an Associate with 2 years' experience to work within Partner David Amentas' team in Sydney. David advises on professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability, management liability, strata liability and employment practices.
He is recognised as a leading litigation lawyer by Best Lawyers in Australia, recommended by Doyle's Guide in the category of Professional Indemnity Lawyers (NSW), and recommended by Legal 500 in employment.
**About you**
Ideally, you will have:
- Strong private practice experience, and academics.
- Exposure to professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability and management liability. Experience with employment disputes would be a bonus but isn't essential.
- Self-drive with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical, research and verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in building rapport with clients to gain a better understanding of their business' needs and assisting with actively developing these client relationships.
