**Role Description/Criteria**

The successful applicant will:

- provide support for a student’s academic learning, behaviour program, physical care, or social progress throughout the entirety of a school day, including class and recess times.
- Assisting students to complete tasks designed by the teacher;
- Prepare support materials.
- Lead small group instruction designed by the teacher;
- Adapt lessons for individual students, under the guidance of a teacher.
- Support the implementation of particular learning goals as identified in the Personalised Learning Plan (PLP).
- Other duties at the discretion of the Principal.

The successful applicant must:

- have experience of working with children
- be a suitable person to engage in child-connected work
- hold or be willing to acquire a Working with Children Check card and must be willing to undergo a National Police Record Check.
- hold a Certificate IV in Edication Support or equivalent
- Have a current drivers licence
- Demonstrate support for the Catholic ethos of our school
