We are looking for innovative and collaborative stakeholder and events specialists to design and implement high-impact solutions for student and graduate employability at Australia’s National University.

**Team Overview**

The ANU Careers and Employability team is expanding to strengthen career education, employability initiatives and industry relations across the University. Aligned with the Government’s Job-ready Graduates Package, ANU Careers and Employability supports students and graduates to have the capabilities, adaptability and experience they will need to thrive in a challenging labour market.

The ANU Careers and Employability team is integral to ensuring our students can successfully navigate the changing world of work and are confident in creating their future careers. We work closely with Academic Colleges and other student service areas to support the variety of outstanding programs providing work-integrated learning and authentic careers education through curriculum-embedded, and standalone learning experiences. Over the next two years, we are looking to significantly extend our work in close collaboration with our internal and external partners.

**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Employer Engagement Manager, the Employer Engagement Officer will work as members of the ANU Careers and Employability team to design and deliver best-practice industry engagement initiatives aligned with the strategic directions of the team and University, including supporting College teams to support embedded industry with work-integrated learning to maximise graduate employment outcomes. Critical to success will be a collegial, supportive style, strong consultation, communication and facilitation skills, and a proven commitment to providing an outstanding student experience.

We are looking for a positive and innovative team player with demonstrated ability to create strategic partnerships with industry and develop students’ knowledge of industries, jobs and pathways to employment. Your skills in digital, print and direct marketing as well as the effective administration and delivery of online, hybrid and in-person events will allow you to promote sustainable career development and employability initiatives covering the entire student lifecycle. Innovative design of events and programs is crucial, as is your ability to work collaboratively within the team, with industry partners and university stakeholders across a range of academic disciplines and student service areas.
