We are looking for passionate and energetic people to join our ACT team at our Googong service. We currently have a position available for a minimum 15 hours per week before and after school (7:00am-9:00 am and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm). This is a mid to large service so no two days will be the same, and we'll be looking for your ideas in activities and experiences to share with the children
About You
Play is vital to children's well-being and sense of belonging, and forms the basis of who they become in the future. You'll be able to bring to life learning through play for the children who attend, and make every experience a fun and magical moment.
OSHC has regulations that require educators to be studying towards or have completed a relevant qualification. This can include qualifications in Psychology, Nursing, Youth Work, Social Work and more:
Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent (working towards is fine); OR
Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent (working towards is fine); OR
Degree in Primary Education or Early Childhood Studies (working towards is fine) or equivalent
Qualifications in relevant fields of study such as Psychology, Health, Youth work etc (please feel free to reach out and ask if you're not sure if your qualification fits) Some experience working with children would be amazing.

You'll need to hold a current Employee ‘Working With Children's Check’ and have valid Working Rights to work in Australia
