**About the role**:
**Duties include**:

- Administer information and knowledge/customer systems - including the Knowledge Vault and NSW Planning Portal.
- Capture, review and regularly report performance data to senior management.
- Coordinate update of policies and procedures.
- Implement processes & practices that ensure customer details are captured into corporate systems which will keep the customers in the loop regarding their enquiries/requests and facilitate a “one view of the customer”.
- Interpret relevant legislation to ensure Council is meeting its legislative obligations on the acceptance and processing of Development Applications.
- Liaise with managers and group managers to resolve escalated enquiries and complaints.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Minimum Diploma in Customer Services, Leadership & Management, Records Management, Town Planning or related field.
- Considerable leadership experience (at least 5 years) in motivating and developing multi-channelled customer service teams.
- Strong communication skills along with the ability to deal with the community and difficult customers.
- Working knowledge of local government, political processes, NSW Planning Instruments, information governance legislation, and community engagement.
- Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW

Permanent Full-time, S1026, Salary: from $117K + Superannuation + Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) + organisational bonus (up to $2K) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts.
