- Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-_
- Enterprise Agreement 2025 _(or as revised).

**Status**Maternity Leave - Temporary Full Time during Term Time

**Reporting To**Early Stage 1 Coordinator

**Key Working**Early Stage 1 Coordinator, Pre-K teaching and Aide staff, Administration
**Relationships**staff including the Business Manager (HR and payroll) and Finance
Officer (procurement and payments).

**Role Summary**

As part of the College’s overall commitment to the education of every child, the Pre-K Teachers’ Aide
works closely to support the Pre-K teachers and students. They assist with the implementation of
teaching and learning programs in the classroom. They also assist with the supervision of students in
the playground.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise, support and work with classroom Pre-K Teachers.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to make adjustments to learning in the classroom.
- Preparation of resources and materials as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Support students with their literacy, numeracy, and social skill development.
- Assist students with specific needs in class and during break times as required.
- Perform general cleaning, clerical assistance and other Pre-K classroom duties as required
- and/or by the teacher.
- Supervise students as part of the playground duty roster.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, working effectively within a team.
- Possess technical competencies required for the position.
- Perform complex duties with only limited instructions.
- Develop and maintain a good rapport with children and their families.
- Fulfil other duties as required by the Principal.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and regularly attend a Christian

church.
- Accept Penrith Anglican College’s Statement of Faith and live a lifestyle consistent with this.
- Have experience as a Teacher’s Aide.
- Have a minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services.
- Have a valid WWCC number.

**Child Safety**

protection legislation and ensure that the College’s Child Safety policies and procedures are always

roles and to provide support to children and young people.

their discretion, vary these responsibilities as required by the College's learning, wellbeing, cultural,
community and administrative requirements.
