**Responsibilities**:
- Perform all lifestyle dispensing duties to the highest standard.
- Analyse and resolve quality & customer service problems.
- Perform administrative duties to the highest standard.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance by your team of systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards, and report any identified issues to your manager.
- Recognise and acknowledge staff for their achievements.
- Coach, counsel and performance manage employees.
- Leading the team with a positive, can-do attitude, giving direction and advice, delegating and supervising workflow and assigned tasks. Lead by example through consistently demonstrating the company values, to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing ideal, or an experienced Optical Assistant.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and is able to remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
