**Help Young Men Build Skills Towards Independence**

Do you want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young men with disabilities? At Dynamic Support WA, we’re looking for a fun, energetic, and compassionate male mentor to join our passionate team.

Dynamic Support WA isn’t just about providing services—we’re about creating opportunities. We empower young men aged 13-25 to navigate their unique journeys into adulthood. Through tailored support and genuine connections, our mentors play a vital role in helping participants develop essential life skills, achieve their personal goals, and embrace greater independence.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Support young men with disabilities to achieve goals such as:

- Building daily living skills (e.g., cooking, personal care, laundry).
- Gaining independence and self-sufficiency.
- Participating in their communities and social groups.
- Achieving educational or employment outcomes.
- Implement and document personalised support plans, ensuring progress towards goals.
- Facilitate engaging and meaningful community participation experiences.
- Monitor participants’ physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting changes as needed.
- Collaborate with families, other support workers, and external professionals to provide a holistic support network.
- Assist participants in finding and maintaining meaningful employment while building employability skills.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- An Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable car with comprehensive insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for empowering others.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and the rights of people with disabilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt, seeking and giving constructive feedback to grow in the role.

**Desirable but Not Essential**:

- Certificate IV in Disability or related qualifications.
- Experience in disability support or a related field.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.61 - $40.26 per hour

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
