**Position Overview**:
We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Mentors. In this role you will have the opportunity to be a positive influence in the lives of others, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to clients with disabilities and/or mental health disorders, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including mainly social engagement, community participation, and personal care.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Engage in active support roles, which may require a certain level of physical stamina.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to client progress and activities.
- Use initiative to systematically break down broad goals into smaller achievable daily/weekly tasks.
- Be person focused, championing choice and control.

**Required**:

- A genuine desire to help other people and make a positive impact.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Driving license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in disability support, first aid, and/or mental health (or willingness to obtain). Lived experience can also qualify.
- The role requires physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting clients with mobility, as well as the energy to participate in active support and community engagement.

**Desired**:

- Experience in disability support, healthcare, or related fields
- Qualifications in (or currently studying) Individual support, Psychology/Philosophy, Physio, Teaching etc.
- Lived experience.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.88 - $43.23 per hour
