The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Human Resource Advisor (Workforce Reporting) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Prepare workforce reports and conduct data analysis using Human Resource and financial systems
Support the team in delivering reporting and analytics that transform, optimise and deliver group-wide workforce reporting, analysis and insights
Investigate and report on variances in workforce Key Performance Indicators
Research and analyse workforce data to support the development of workforce and operational plans

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:
Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (clinical or non-clinical) would be well regarded, as well as the following:
Knowledge of Queensland Health's corporate and local information systems
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with a willingness to learn advanced features such as data modelling and formulas
Experience in preparing data or reports and using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or HR systems) is highly valued
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a desire to build effective working relationships and contribute to collaborative projects in dynamic environments
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent full time
Base salary ranging from $90 832 - $100 071 per annum
