Assistant Urgent Defect

**Assistant Urgent Defect (URDEF) Manager**:

- Location: Potts Point, NSW, AU, 2011- Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite**About the role**

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for supporting the Urgent Defect (URDEF) Manager in the effective management of all Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) Class urgent defects. You will assist to establish and maintain a roster which provides out of hours support to URDEF’s as required.

In addition, you will ensure that the LHD ACPC URDEF Performance targets are maintained as the signal addressee for all URDEFs.

**About you**

As you will required to utilise various defence systems, including but not limited to, Asset Management & Planning System (AMPS), Maintenance Management Portal (MMP), MERCURY and Objective to obtain data and to create and request various types of reports - it will be important that you either have current experience or the ability to learn these systems due to your similar background and technical konwledge.

We are looking for an individual that is a motivated self-starter, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage and build key relationships with various stakeholders.
- To be successful, you will have:_
- Trade background or Certificate IV in Engineering
- Suitable experience in a similar role with URDEF experience
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) and Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain an appropriate level of Australian Defence Security Clearance
