**About the Role**:
We are looking for experienced Architectural Technicians, with advanced Revit skills and strong construction and detailing knowledge, to join our dynamic team in the Sydney studio. We have a large volume of work across multiple sectors including Education, Commercial, and Workspace, and initially you will be working on exciting Education projects, so an interest in this area is highly desirable
You will have an opportunity to be involved in projects from start to finish and play a leading role in managing and coordinating packages. We have a continuous improvement mentality so we look for team members who will assist us the ongoing development of our documentation standards and BIM management as well as the ongoing development and mentoring of the team.
Our open and light-filled Sydney studio is in the heart of the Sydney CBD, close to trains, buses, and ferries, with onsite showers for those who enjoy riding or running to work. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative team of Architects and Designers, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers and Graphic Design professionals.
We are also embracing the Hybrid Work Model, encouraging a mix of remote and on-site working options, giving you the flexibility to work as efficiently as possible.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare documentation to a high degree of accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of construction detailing and documentation
- Prepare documentation within required timelines and deadlines and in accordance with Gray Puksand’s Revit standards and the project management system
- Understand all aspects of a project, the project team and project delivery method
- Undertake any on-site work to a high degree of accuracy, on a first visit basis where required
- Understand the construction method of the project being documented
- Assist in the continuous development of our Revit and Documentation standards
- In future, act as the primary local contact for all Revit and documentation related matters support, training and inductions
**About you**:
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who wants to be part of an exciting and growing company that has a strong focus on the continuous development of our Documentation standards and design technology.
You will need to be a self-starter who enjoys working in a team but can also work comfortably with little supervision.
As we have been using Revit for over 10 years, you will need to have a strong knowledge of the program and be able to produce thorough and considered documentation. You will also need to have strong construction knowledge and detailing abilities.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience using Revit on large scale projects (30+ million)
- Extensive experience in construction detailing (education projects will be highly regarded)
- Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Excellent communication skills
