**Head of Global IT Security
**About The Role**
Reporting to the CIO, the Head of Global IT Security is responsible for leading and managing the implementation, operation and control of all IT security requirements required to deliver and support IT services and products to meet business and IT objectives. In this role you will be a contributor to the strategy of ongoing technology security and thought leadership to build best practice in the team. You will work with the IT leadership team to define the IT security strategy and chair the Global Executive Security steering committee.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, evaluate, prioritise, and mitigate business risks to the organisation related to regulatory requirements, compliance with corporate policy, and adherence to sound IT business practices, e.g., information security, project management and sourcing.
- Responding to customer requests for information, working with security officers at various other organisations and sharing’s Hansen’s response to security, supporting Hansen’s account managers in answering pertinent security questions and sharing Hansen’s Security Strategy.
- Examining current compliance controls, trends, and exceptions, monitoring conformance issues, tracking complex IT operational risks, and establishing controls, procedures, and documentation to mitigate these risks.
- Address issues and risks related to the IT organisation’s ability to control access to business/personal information and data assets. Its scope includes both physical and logical security measures required to meet regulatory, corporate confidentiality and business process requirements.
- Define the day-to-day information/data administration framework of policies, standards, and procedures. These include data collection, quality, consolidation and integration, access, usage, retention, and protection. In addition, it also involves execution of the data ownership/custodianship responsibilities in monitoring compliance with the defined administration framework.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the control environment, including self-assessments and independent assurance reviews.
- Assist in the evaluation that IT processes and IT-supported business processes are compliant with laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Enhance and optimise business processes through more effective use of technology and adoption of leading and emerging technology solutions.

**About you**

Proven experience in a similar role managing remote teams with in-depth knowledge of and experience in security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, incident management, threat management, etc. You will also have:

- sound knowledge of NIST, ISO27001, GDPR and their practical implementation.
- demonstrated experience identifying, managing, and monitoring the security, risk and compliance for a global organisation.
- awareness of systems management and operational support tools.
- software development security awareness, utilising OWASP standards.
