**About the Role**

Join our Perth team as an **IT/AV Support Technician**, where you'll be at the heart of our hybrid, virtual and in-house corporate events and exams. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in planning, coordinating and delivering the technical and non-technical aspects that make our events shine.

In this permanent full-time role, you'll take the lead in supervising events that require virtual connections, video conferencing, and phone communications. You'll also be the go-to person for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Your customer service focus and attention to detail will ensure that each event is flawlessly executed, and our clients' needs are met with precision.

We know that the success of our events hinges on seamless collaboration, and your team-first attitude will be a key asset. You'll not only be the mastermind behind technical set ups, but a reliable team player who steps up whenever required during busy periods.

Collaborating with our experienced Head Office team and peers across our venues in Australia & NZ, you'll be supported by a small onsite team of casuals in set up and event delivery.

**About you**

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a primarily Windows-based environment
- Solid knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, DHCP
- Ability to coordinate multi-premise video-conferencing solutions across both physical and virtual environments
- Understanding of audio-visual fundamentals and technologies
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service focus
- Calmness under pressure, and make effective decisions
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to meet business demands
- Physically fit to perform corporate event room setups
