As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the Australian logistics network of warehouses, both McCain and Third party owned, all transport providers across sea, rail and road and McCain’s finished goods inventory of over 80,000 pallets. Critical to this role is ensuring day-to-day operations, service and targets are met while building teams and a logistics network to support McCain’s five-year strategy and growth plans. **About the Role** - Ownership of annual warehouse and logistics Spend of >$50m - Evaluate business strategic intent as it relates to our Supply Chain function and implement local strategies to align the supply chain to best in class FMCG practices and cost control - Responsible for overall Risk Management across the Australian Logistics network, including compliance and implementation of Chain of Responsibility - Ensure deployment planning strategies and delivery of volume requirements to meet customer and sales demand across ANZ - Align the supply chain operations with sustainable cost advantage practices/processes and lead the development of supply chain processes to meet on time delivery of our products and customer demand forecasting - Review and own Supply Chain KPIs / metrics - Own and drive a CI program of work both internally and partnering with 3rd party producers to reduce cost and improve service and automation (EDI) **About You** - Extensive (min 5 years) experience in FMCG supply chain management environment - Exposure to all facets of business (Sales, Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain) paired with knowledge in Manufacturing systems, specifically SAP - In-depth understanding of best practice around operations planning - Profit and Loss management and Business Scenario Modelling - Maturity and confidence to discuss complex business issues at the most senior level, while maintaining confidentiality & great attention to detail. - Creative thinking & innovation mind set paired with ability to problem solve **#LI-RS1** - McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
