Motus Australia (Pty) Ltd seeks a highly skilled and experienced Supply and Distribution Manager with more than 10 years of experience in a similar position to join our team in Victoria. The position is based in Ballarat and will require travelling. Preference will be given to candidates with an Automotive and Logistics background.

As the Supply and Distribution Manager within our company, you will play a critical role in optimising our stockholding, for multiple Automotive OEMs, via daily and weekly orders, to ensure timely supply to our internal and external customers.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

Technical experience:

  • relevant technical/tertiary qualifications in a supply chain-related discipline.
  • an excellent understanding of inventory management dynamics, including SOP's, supplier relationship management, logistics, warehouse technology, and how to scale the department.
  • the ability to work internally in a complex environment across multi-service segments and align the service delivery across extremely diverse environments.
  • develop and implement sales and logistics strategies and continuous improvement processes, Lean or Six Sigma.
  • customer dissatisfaction process, analyse failures regarding deliveries, client complaints, damages etc to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • manage the division budgets and financial performance.
  • ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • liaising with other departments and customers to KPI-managed VOR management.
