Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager

A great opportunity has arrived for a hands-on leader to join WesTrac as an **Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager**.
As key member of the business you will lead your team to provide ownership, support and life cycle management of systems and services within an already thriving environment. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, data and information security risk management and governance frameworks including policies, standards and practices.
Additionally, you will play a lead role in championing internal communication and education activities to promote data literacy and cyber resilience across WesTrac. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including executives and business leaders, you will drive improvements to the quality and value of core data assets for business growth, while maintaining data privacy and security compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Day to day leadership and management of the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Team Leaders.
- The development, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, data and information security risk management and governance frameworks including policies, standards and practices.
- Ongoing assessment of information system security controls in alignment with industry practice standards and frameworks, identifying areas of concern and providing stakeholders with appropriate levels of assurance
- Uplift and implementation of standards and processes around monitoring, patching and backup.
- Manage the lifecycle management of systems and services within the environment, including - (Virtual & Physical infrastructure, Storage, Windows Servers, Network & Telecommunications, Microsoft Services (Azure AD & O365).
- Build long lasting relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Management and co-ordination of major or high priority Incidents.
- Management and engagement with suppliers to foster effective partnerships to meet WesTrac’s strategic objectives.
**To be successful the following is required**:
- Extensive experience in governance, risk or compliance within a major organisation with a large-scale data environment, including enterprise Infrastructure management and team management.
- Experience establishing policies, standards and practices that protect the integrity and confidentiality of data and information system
- Strong experience embedding and leading change, a risk culture across business as usual, change and project activities, risk maturity uplift
- Sound knowledge of Enterprise ICT including Network Concepts and Technologies, including Compute, Storage, Unified Communications, Switching, Wireless and Firewalls.
- Experience with enterprise Server Lifecycle management including the implementation and management of patching cycles and maintenance windows, enterprise grade storage and backup solutions
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to develop, maintain and foster constructive relationships with others including executive and board level leaders, as well as suppliers.
- Demonstrated and strong skills in both written and verbal technical communication, detailed and critical thinking, strategic thinking, collaboration & stakeholder management
- CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM and SANS or equivalent certifications are a bonus.
