**The Role & What We Are Looking For**

The Cyber Security Analyst plays a key role in ensuring Capricorn's business critical end user services and functions have appropriate and effective cyber security controls. This role will contribute to ensuring optimal performance and security of Capricorns desktop, mobility and IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Identifying, assess, monitor and report on cyber security threats, risks and opportunities as they relate to Capricorn;
- Provide Cyber Security recommendations based on significant threats and vulnerabilities;
- Document and escalate incidents (including event history, status, and potential impact for further action) that may cause ongoing and immediate impact to the environment;
- Conduct regular audits of Capricorn's identity management systems (Active Directory & Azure AD);
- Facilitate User Awareness training to staff on various Cyber Security topics;
- Additional responsibilities include monitoring and administering IT infrastructure systems, as well as the provision of third-level support to the IT Service Desk as required

Where also looking for experience in the following areas:

- Experience in identifying and understanding cyber security risks.
- Experience in facilitating threat and risk assessments, controls assurance testing and auditing
- Well-developed knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, positivity, and results-driven focus, you ask the right questions and team culture matters to you.
