We are excited to announce openings for motivated and detail orientated **Student Advisor - Admissions**to join our DE International team within the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing (TLSW) division.
- Location: Eveleigh with access to flexible working arrangements available
- Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 with base salary ranging from $97,027 to $100,086 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Ongoing full-time opportunity.

**About the directorate**
The Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of state-wide services and specialist programs to support student engagement and opportunities including Arts, Sport, Community Languages and International programs.
The Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services team focuses on the delivery of student support services including support for students in the areas of mental health, wellbeing and complex needs.
The Assisted School Travel Program provides transportation services for students with additional needs from home to school and back to ensure all students are able to access education in NSW public schools.
Student opportunities across all areas are enhanced through partnerships with industry specialists and stakeholders.
**About the role**
As a Student Advisor - Admissions, you will play a key role in providing information, guidance, and administrative support to prospective and current international students, their families, schools, and education agents. You will be the first point of contact for many, ensuring a smooth admissions process and a positive experience for international students entering NSW public schools.

**Key knowledge and experience**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing a service to temporary resident students and/or international students
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
**Essential requirements**:
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- Hold a valid NSW drivers license
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
