**Your new role**
- Undertake research, consultation and policy analysis to identify and respond to issues and opportunities relating to climate and natural hazard risks.
- Understand the capabilities across the ACS partnership and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes and products aligned with decision maker priorities.
- Develop high-quality advice, briefing materials, correspondence, submissions and reporting to assist decision making and influence external activities/programs.
- Develop, implement and evaluate policies, projects and operational procedures both within and outside of the ACS.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and represent the ACS at cross-agency meetings and forums.
- Procure and manage consultants and contractors for priority projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in policy development, implementation and/or evaluation
- Excellent ability to identify and solve complex policy problems
- Experience in program or project management
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
- Exceptional organisational skills and disciplined work approach
