Job Description

The Orange Door Partnership aims to address the needs of all Victorians who experience or use Family Violence as well as families who need support in relation to child wellbeing. The HMA Orange Door is an integrated intake and assessment service that is the referral pathway to a range of services including Integrated Family Services, Specialist Women’s Family Violence Services, Men’s Behaviour Change and other services.

DPV practitioners within the HMA Orange Door provide specialist family violence intake assessment and referral responses primarily to men using violence.

The Practitioner - Men’s Family Violence is a clinical position responsible for providing specialist family violence responses primarily to people who use violence. The position may also include providing specialist family violence responses to victim survivors and child wellbeing support depending on service needs.

Desired Skills and Experience

You will possess demonstrable capability in the following areas:

- Knowledge of family violence and experience within the family violence sector including experience working with men using violence or other relevant experience that demonstrates capacity to undertake the role.
- A passion for integrated service delivery, service reform and improving outcomes for women, children and families.
