The Electorate Officer is the primary office manager, responsible for supervising a small team of staff and volunteers. This role oversights the office operations, ensuring that inquiries are responded to, issues are resolved and events are managed on time and within budget.
The Electorate Office has a small annual budget set by the Member. This role is required to complete monthly financial acquittals (training provided) and report on budget issues and opportunities.
Finally, the Electorate Office runs a number of regular events. The Electorate Officer is responsible for oversighting these, delegating tasks and ensuring they are completed on time, and working with local community groups to ensure events run smoothly.
