The Specialist Consulting service provides an extensive range of medical and surgical specialist clinics that are supported by multidisciplinary staff including allied health specialists, diagnostic services and interpreter services.

Specialist Consulting clinics operate across Monash Health, both within our hospitals and at other satellite locations with a centralised referral management team.

Our Specialist Consulting Clinic Team has a Full Time Clinic Access Coordinator vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced team to assist in the enhancement of daily operations of the Specialist Consulting Clinics at our Clayton Site. This is a dynamic service where your existing leadership skills can be fully utilised.

**A Day in the Life**:
This position is required to coordinate the daily operations within the specialist consulting clinics by ensuring all necessary tasks are completed, monitoring capacity and ensuring appropriate utilisation. Key responsibilities of these roles are to ensure optimum clinic workflow, act as a point of contact for clinicians, staff and patients as well as deliver training and education to support staff.

You are an experienced Leader and thrive on working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, demonstrating a flexible, can-do attitude and strong organisational, communication and time management skills.

- The ability to adapt in a changing environment to meet demands
- People Management Experience
- Ability to deliver training and education to staff, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of Department of Health and Human Services reporting requirements and policies is desirable
- Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience with data entry associated with high level computer keyboard skills
- Time management including capacity to prioritise effectively to meet the requirements of the position
- Proven ability to accept change with a commitment to high quality outcomes
- Previous experience in a Healthcare Setting
- _ Experience with iPM or other patient administration systems_
