**The Department**

The MS program involves clinical activities at the Alfred Health.The program is committed to excellence in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with MS.

**Position Summary**

Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) will lead our MSNI nursing team, supporting patients across Multiple Sclerosis, Neuroimmunology, and Neuro-ophthalmology services. This senior role will play a key part in service delivery, quality improvement, and the integration of cutting-edge research into clinical care.**Key responsibilities include**:

- Leading and mentoring the MS, Neuroimmunology and Neuro-ophthalmology nursing teams
- Coordinating patient-centred care across specialist clinics and nurse-led services
- Supporting brain health and self-management programs
- Driving clinical governance, quality initiatives, and education
- Collaborating on world-leading research, including MSBase and clinical trials
- Overseeing clinical operations, service planning, and stakeholder engagement

**Qualifications and Experience required**
- Holds a current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse in Victoria
- Advanced assessment skills and the demonstrated ability to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in review and development of policies and procedures
