- About the Role

We are looking for Payroll and Customer Service Administrator to join our Transaction Services team of Service Stream. You will be a key team member support the running and delivery of the payment of wages, and triaging tickets from the payroll helpdesk. This role will be based out of our head office on Collins Street and offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract (with the potential of extension).

About The Role
In this role, you will have diversity of tasks by working across payroll processing and supporting the payroll helpdesk. You will work closely with the wider payroll team and have exposure to a group of professionals that support each other.

Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Processing- Providing administration and payroll support, assisting with daily operational tasks.- Executing accurate data entry and maintaining payroll records.- Responding to routine payroll inquiries and escalating complex issues to payroll officers as necessary.- Calculating employee termination and redundancy payments.- Assisting with deductions/overpayments.

2. Payroll Helpdesk
- Responding to and resolve customer tickets, calls and queries in a timely manner.
- Escalating enquiries to payroll SMEs when required.
- Providing quality customer service while demonstrating the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical enquiries.
- Actively participating in relevant projects to enhance payroll and broader business objectives and outcomes.

About You

This role would suit someone looking to start or excel their career in Payroll. You will enjoy working in an environment with high volumes of data, deadlines and providing outstanding customer service to our team members.- Have 3 years of experience in payroll processing and/or helpdesk experience.- Prior experience with Chris21 would be highly desirable but not essential.- Be a strong communicator and have excellent customer service skills.- Be adaptable, eager to learn, and be a team player.- Have strong attention to detail.- Have proficiency across Microsoft office products including Outlook and Excel.
