As the Despatch & Logistics Assistant at Global Proficiency's Tullamarine site, you are responsible for helping keep our operations and logistics running in a smooth & efficient manner.

Working in despatch/ office environment with 1 other person, you will do hands on / light physical duties and administration.

You'll work 25 hours per week (9:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday) in this part-time permanent job.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sort samples and split bulk products into smaller sizes.
- Pack sample-sets with appropriate documentation for despatching to client laboratories
- Warehousing, stock management and tidying the work area
- Document preparation and administration tasks
- Loading boxes in vehicles for delivery and occasionally using a work car to pick up or drop off stock from customer sites

**Key requirements**:

- Prior Despatch & Logistics administration or similar experience is ideal.
- High attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet daily deadlines is essential.
- Great problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to keep working productively when unsupervised is also essential.
- Must have a full driver's licence and be capable of doing physical duties, including lifting boxes of up to 14 kgs.
- Reliable and friendly person with strong English verbal communication skills.

**Benefits**:

- Closed for 3 weeks holiday every Summer (23 Dec - 16 Jan)
