We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our outstanding family team.

Our support staff will have the opportunity to work from a brand new High Physical Support SDA apartment located in Schofields, NSW. Our support staff will be supporting one participant who requires 24hr 1:1 support with periods of 2:1 for morning and evening transfers.

We are seeking passionate workers who are experienced in supported independent living supports, personal care and community participation.

**You will**:
Play a key role providing essential support empowering people to live independently, be part of the community and live their best life. Duties may include:

- Assistance with daily life tasks
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Administration of medication
- Support for medical appointments
- Community participation, including support to get to and from activities including family gathering and community outings
- Behaviour support

**Essential Requirements for this role**:

- Minimum Cert III in Disability or equivalent
- Experience in Disability sector
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current National Police check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Covid-19 Infection Control Training (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current NSW Drivers License (desired but not essential)

The following certification is desired but not essential as _training will be provided._
- Epilepsy Training
- Medication Management
- Stoma Care

- Penalty rates
