Public Sector People, a leading recruitment agency, is partnering with a state government department to find an experienced AO4 Business Support Officer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the department's data management and analysis needs, as well as contributing to end-to-end solution design.

**This is a temporary contract position until 30th August with potential to extend.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce high-quality artifacts capturing data requirements, functional specifications, transformation rules, and complex data maps for multi-system data convergence
- Contribute to end-to-end solution design in a way that demonstrates understanding of and incorporates the functional requirements
- Creating interface contracts for complex system-to-system integrations

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Extensive, hands-on data analysis experience - including a thorough appreciation of how data flows through systems, relationships between data, and data granularity
- Scenario planning, analysis and modelling including financial and data transformation
- Translating business requirements to digitalize the customer experience
- Experience working in a State Government environment
- Proficiency in SQL to query and analyse data
- Ability to clearly articulate problems, causes and solutions
- Confidentiality
