A pivotal opportunity is available for a Platform Team Lead to steer and manage our Platform Engineering team. Beyond operational leadership, you'll work in partnership with Vix Product Owners and Solution Architecture to evolve and enhance the delivery stack, including ownership of the build infrastructure. You'll also get to collaborate with switched-on professionals in the Vix engineering space.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Managing the team responsible for the underlying tech stack of the AWS-based Vix Pulse platform
- Working with the Platform Product Owner and Architecture team to manage the backlog of tech improvements for the platform
- Forming relationships with your individual direct reports, to understand their individual roles, skill sets, strengths and challenges
- Working with the team to create and sustain a safe and healthy team culture, encouraging productive collaboration within and beyond the team
- Working with your direct reports to form their professional development plan, including guiding OKR definition and career path discussions
- Understanding the monitoring requirements for the Pulse platform to ensure the health of the platform.
- Work with other development teams to improve the deployment of different parts of the platform.

**What you'll bring to the role**
- Experience managing a team of software and platform engineers.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure.
- Good communication skills - confidence to liaise daily with other team to align on delivery.
- Fundamental understanding of monitoring and observability best practices.
- Experience working in scrum is ideal.
