Overview:
Gallagher Bassett is Australia's largest Third Party Administrator (TPA). Our focus is refreshingly simple: we manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured corporations.

Gallagher Bassett (GB) has six offices in Australia located in Northern Territory, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and employing over 1,600 staff.
**Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a Program Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology trends, infrastructure, and industry best practices.
**On a day to day basis you will**:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple technology projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency in project management processes and methodologies
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical and project management skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in program management, successfully delivering complex technology projects
- Strong technical background, with an understanding of technology infrastructure, software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and emerging technologies
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Well-developed leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and overcoming obstacles
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and manage expectations to ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder objectives
