Exploration Geologist / Field Geologist

Location: Near Meekatharra (20km North)

Roster: Flexible - Candidate preference

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Exploration Geologist / Field Geologist to join a gold producer that has recently commenced operations in the Murchison region. This role is ideally suited to a geologist with 5+ years' experience in gold exploration who enjoys a hands-on, field-based position. Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, you will contribute to the design and execution of exploration programs across a highly prospective tenement package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diamond and RC drill logging, sampling, and QA/QC.
  • Assist with exploration targeting and execution of field programs.
  • Data management and interpretation using Micromine.
  • Field mapping, geochemical sampling, and data collection.
  • Support the Senior Exploration Geologist in planning and reporting.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to high safety and environmental standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in gold exploration (surface focused).
  • Strong diamond and RC logging skills.
  • Exposure to exploration targeting and Micromine.
  • Hands-on, practical approach in the field.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
