Overview

Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading Perth-based gold mining company, is seeking an experienced and adaptable Exploration Geologist to join with an 8:6 roster. Location: Western Australia.

About the Role

As an Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for executing and supervising field exploration programs. You will play a key role in identifying and generating quality drill targets, with the ultimate aim of discovering and developing mineral resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and oversee field programs including mapping, sampling, and drill logging to required geological standards
  • Accurately record, validate, and report geological data in a timely manner
  • Supervise and guide Field Technicians and contractors engaged in exploration activities
  • Ensure compliance with tenure, heritage, health, and safety obligations, while verifying staff and contractors are trained to complete work safely
  • Provide timely data interpretations, analysis, and reports to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Previous experience in mineral exploration or mine production geology
  • Working knowledge of mining, health & safety, heritage, and tenure legislation
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
