**Software Development Team Leader - Melbourne Office - Permanent Full Time**

A great opportunity to be a leader of a software development team to work collaboratively to enable and empower a team, taking accountability for the delivery

and operation of a valuable platform used by thousands of real estate professionals everyday.

Build a better understanding of our customers through passion and curiosity and use it to guide the technical direction of the team, to build quality full stack software. Providing career development & performance growth for team members and assisting with the hiring process for new team members.

**Who are you?**
- Participate in an Agile team environment, fostering shared ownership, a growth mindset and cross-functional contribution.
- Work closely with cross functional peers (tech, product, commercial, marketing) providing technical guidance from a roadmap, architecture and value perspective.
- Leading the way with clean, readable, resilient, and scalable code & delivering what’s right for our customers and Domain.

With 4 key positions we are looking for someone who
- (Position 1) has experience with;
- Leading a backend focused engineering team (API as a Product)
- Hands on experience with Java OR Kotlin OR Python
- SQL databases at scale (PostgreSQL/RDS or similar)

(Position 2) experience with:

- Leading a web focused product engineering team with some aspects of Java
- middleware
- Hands on experience with React, NextJS, Docker
- Foundational experience in Java middleware including Spring and Gradle

(Position 3) experience with:

- Leading a API focused product engineering team with multiple streams of work
- Hands on experience in Java middleware including Spring and Gradle
- Foundational experience in developing ETL jobs / leading Data Engineers

(Position 4) experience with:

- Leading a web focused product engineering team
- Hands on experience with React, GraphQL, BFF

For all positions we would like to see experience with
- Foundational understanding of cloud technologies (AWS highly considered)
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
