**Description**: With the continuous growth and expansion of our teams and service offerings, Planit are proud to announce a market leading new initiative to the industry. The Planit Automation Academy. What’s involved? You will start your career at Planit with a cohort of other Test Automation Engineers Your cohort will begin a 2-week intensive modern cloud-based automation engineering training program. The training program will be led by one of our directors with over 20 years of modern engineering experience. Whilst in the academy you will also learn: Infrastructure as code Containerised automation frameworks Component based modelling techniques Modern design patterns Automation as part of cloud and CI/CD platforms Once your training is complete, your will be placed onto our clients and be supported by a community of over 180 Automation engineers in Australia and New Zealand. This is your chance to take your career to the next level
**Responsibilities**:
**Mandatory Skills & Experience**: - Experience in using test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium - Excellent in programming languages such as Java, C#, Typescript - A graduate with an IT or computer science degree - An individual who is self-taught in coding or has recently completed any accelerated programs and loves to code - A developer who has decided that they enjoy the quality engineering side of things - A developer looking for exciting opportunity to return to work - Excellent communication and documentation skills - Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships - Contribute to agile project activities and techniques such as stand-ups, iteration planning and retrospectives.
