Farm Management Support (FMS) Specialist
to join our dynamic team in Melbourne.

About The Role
As the FMS Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting the farms in the region, ensuring the successful implementation and optimisation of Lely's Milking and Digital Farming propositions. You'll be the critical link between Lely International, the Lely Cluster, and local Lely Centers — helping to deliver the best results through training, coaching, and support.

Your local knowledge of the dairy industry and strong networking will help embed Lely's values into our regions. This is a pivotal role in shaping sustainable dairy farming practices while ensuring excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support & Training

  • Train and certify Lely Center FMS Advisors.

  • Support the start-up of new farms and ensure adherence to Lely's "first time right" approach.
  • Identify field needs and translate them into actionable training and coaching.
  • Provide on-farm and remote support to Lely Centers and customers.

Coaching & Implementation

  • Coach and mentor advisors to build long-term capability and service quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement of on-farm service and customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local advisors, veterinarians, nutritionists, and industry partners.
  • Act as the communication bridge between local teams and Lely International.
  • Share regional insights and feedback to inform product development and training content.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong education in an Agricultural field, and/or extensive experience in the dairy sector.
  • Understanding of dairy farm systems and practices, including interpretation of farm driven data.
  • Automated robotic dairy equipment knowledge highly beneficial.
  • Ability to travel locally, interstate, and internationally – non-negotiable.
  • Proven communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Customer-focused and commercially aware.
  • Proven ability to organise, plan, and deliver impactful training and support
  • Fluent in English, with a global mindset and local focus.
  • Existing network in the local dairy and agricultural sector is highly desirable.
