**We are seeking a passionate Health & Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team.**

Ramsay Health Care is Australia’s largest private hospital operator, with more than 70 modern hospitals, clinics and surgical centres across the country.

We are seeking a passionate WHS Coordinator to join our team, supporting the National Safety Team at a facility level.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at our Westmead facility, a modern 212-bed private hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and maternity services, located in the western Sydney.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As the WHS Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on WHS across Westmead Private Hospital, working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong, proactive safety culture.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
- Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
- Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
- Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
- Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.

**What You’ll Bring**:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
- Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
- A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases

**What You’ll Be Paid**:
This is a permanent part-time position - 45.6 hours a fortnight, reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager.

We offer a base annual salary of $110k - $115k ($66 - $69k pro-rata) + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
