As a Customer Delivery Specialist at Carma, you’ll be the friendly face bringing our customers’ new cars straight to their door — making sure every handover is smooth, personal, and memorable. You’ll focus on delivering top-notch service, solving problems on the spot, and making sure the experience exceeds expectations from start to finish.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Be the face of Carma when handing over Carma cars to their new home, ensuring every experience is personalised and seamless
- Learn the ins and outs of the vehicles that you deliver, so that you can show off its best features.
- Work closely with the customer service and sales team to understand each customer’s journey and make their handover feel truly tailored.
- Get behind the wheel and drive the Carma truck around Sydney to deliver cars (don’t worry if you haven’t done this before - we’ll upskill you on how to drive the trucks).
- Support in coordinating delivery times and updates with customers and internal teams.
- Inspect trade in vehicles, making sure everything is in great shape and matches the condition we expect it in.
- Jump in with the team, pitch in where needed, and ensure that whatever curve balls come your way - that every car still gets delivered to customers with the best experience possible.
Please note that this is a full time position based in St Peters, Sydney with 90% of your time spent on the road.
**Okay, let's talk about you**:
- You’ve worked in customer service; ideally face-to-face, and love creating great experiences for people.
- You’re a confident communicator who knows how to adjust your style to suit the customer.
- You’re adaptable, positive, and ready to solve problems when plans change.
- You’re organised, detail-focused, and efficient with admin and paperwork.
- You hold a valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and feel confident driving across Sydney.
- You’re tech-savvy, and confident in navigating new systems.
- You’re OK with a rotating roster (open to working some weekend shifts when needed).
- Bonus points if you already have a HR truck licence - otherwise we'll support in training you to get this
