Government agency looking for a Superintendents Representative to assist with capital works projects.

**Your new company**

Our client is a business unit within Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance and capital works projects. Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Superintendents Representative to their department to assist with their various building projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for providing operational contract supervisory services in respect to construction and engineering contracts on major Public Works projects. This will include undertaking regular site inspections, assessing contractual claims, and processing contractor's requests for information to assist in the delivery of work. You will also be required to effectively communicate with project stakeholders to ensure project budgets, timelines and requirements are being met.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade work. You will therefore ideally come from a trade or project management background where you will delivered such work. As part of your role will include tender and documentation, you will need a good understanding of Microsoft products in order to prepare documents and reports. You will also have experience in contract supervisory services and assessing contractual claims.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start with an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension based in Brisbane CBD. You will be offered a full time temporary position paying an hourly rate of $68.92 per hour + super. You will also have the potential opportunity to work from home.
