**The role**
We are seeking to appoint a climate change and energy consultant with one to five years of experience in a similar technical role in industry or consulting. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with senior professionals on a diverse range of energy and climate change projects across most sectors of the Australian economy.
**Responsibilities**
Assist clients in measuring and managing carbon emissions, developing decarbonisation strategies, auditing carbon accounts and carbon offset projects and undertaking climate-related risk assessments.
The role could be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra.
**Qualifications**
A degree in engineering, science, environmental management, economics or similar
**Skills & Experience**
- between one and five years of professional industry or consulting experience
- strong analytical skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
- strong technical experience in areas like carbon accounting, decarbonisation strategy, energy efficiency or renewables
- outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- knowledge of energy and carbon schemes such NGER, ERF, Climate Active, SBT and TCFD
- a willingness to travel
- a degree in engineering, science or similar.
