An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Maintenance Worker to join our SA Water project team across our Adelaide sites
About the Role

Service Stream’s SA Water division are currently seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to join the team delivering exciting projects across Adelaide.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Adelaide, SA

Reporting Line: Field Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Plant Operation (ie HR / HC licence, excavator, vac truck, FEL, backhoe, truck jetting systems)
- Hydro excavation
- Trenching
- CCTV pipe / drain inspections
- Pipe laying / dig outs
- Use of hand-tools and manual labouring duties
- General civil / construction labouring - (white card and traffic management highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in Civil Works (Water / Wastewater / underground infrastructure or allied maintenance industries This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you are highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced professional who will have a strong client & customer service focus background along with the drive and commitment to work within a large team. You are someone who puts safety first and complies/understand the relevant safety & sustainability polices and always maintains professional behaviour and acts with integrity.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with clients, stakeholder, and community management You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Experience in Water / Wastewater / underground infrastructure or allied maintenance industries
- Current driver’s license
- Understanding the requirement for Risk Assessments and SWM
- Positive promotion and support of a one team culture with ServiceStream and SA Water.
- Consistently provide professional and courteous customer service to end users across the Adelaide metropolitan network
- Professional and courteous customer service capabilities to engage with customers on-site
