We’re searching for an **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our close-knit Finance team. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine desire to support our teams and suppliers.

**COME AS YOU ARE & DO WHAT YOU LOVE**

This isn’t your typical numbers only desk job. As our**Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations smooth, our people paid, and our processes sharp. You’re just as comfortable managing payroll deadlines as you are speaking with suppliers or answering a team member’s question with a smile.

**What your day might look like**
- You’ll process accurate and timely payrolls across our business, supporting everyone from new hires to long-time team members;
- You’ll manage our payroll and accounts payable systems like a pro;
- You’ll be the go-to person for supplier queries and payment processing, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution;
- You’ll partner with managers to make sure rosters and wage costs are on track, and support them with insights that help the business thrive;
- You’ll keep us on top of compliance - from ATO and Fair Work to WorkCover and Super obligations;
- You’ll help with reporting, month-end processes, reconciliations, audits, and even support payroll projects that shape how we work.

**Qualifications** What we’re looking for**
- You’ve got at least 1 year of experience an accounts payable role, ideally in hospitality or a similar industry;
- You know your way around Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and understand the importance of accurate, fair, and timely pay;
- You’re confident with systems, love spreadsheets, and have eagle-eyed attention to detail;
- You’re approachable, reliable, and handle confidential information with absolute integrity;
- You’re proactive and thrive under pressure, always meeting your deadlines and staying cool when things get busy.
