United Cellars is looking for professional wine presenters in Brisbane.

United Cellars is a recognised market leader in wine retail, offering Aussie and New Zealand wine drinkers the greatest wine experience whether it’s shopping with us online, tasting at our events or through our wine advisers on the phone. We work closely with the coolest winemakers, producers and distributors to get the best wines available.

There are few things we love more than helping our customers get the most out of their wine and one key way we achieve this is through our events program. From Masterclasses to Informal Tastings, we make sure that each evening is the perfect mix of education and entertainment.

Whether it’s streaming wine events online or at our prestigious restaurant settings, our busy events calendar has its sights on Brisbane wine lovers, so we are opening up the opportunity for passionate wine professionals to join our team.

**Who you are?**
- You’ll have a background in events and/or wine education/sales and presenting, with 3-5 years experience in the wine and food industry or similar premium or corporate brand events.
- Strong Communication skills: Experience in talking to clients, wine makers, presenters alike, listening to their needs and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements. Working alongside suppliers, contractors, employees, wait staff and many other parties at the same time. Customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Calm Under Pressure: Many things can go wrong during an event, and something eventually will. The ability to remain calm during a crisis and in the high pressure of an event in progress.
- WSET level 2+ or equivalent wine industry experience preferred.
- Wine training experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work mid-week evenings.

**What you’ll do?**

Working with our Events, Buying and Marketing teams you will be responsible for:

- Hosting and presenting for small to medium sized wine tasting events at Brisbane CBD venues.
- Showcasing and pouring wines for each event.
- Coordinating with venues and the venue contact so set up, staffing and service runs smoothly.
- Promoting wine sales during/at the conclusion of the event.
- Following up by providing any sales order back to United Cellars.
