We are currently looking for a Schedule Lead to join our Major Infrastructure Projects division in Sydney We are looking for a Scheduling Superstar who has strong technical skills but equally as strong client management ability.
**Job Description**:
A primary function of the Project Controls Services will be ensuring that the Client complies with all contractual requirements and prescribed timeframes of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), including but not limited to the following:
- Payment Claim process;
- Managing Programme/Activity Schedule;
- Early Warning Process; and
- Compensation Events.
Other duties will be:
- Assist the Project Manager and Contract Manager in updating and administrating the Programme and Activity Schedule in accordance with the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (Option C for AWRC and Option A for Pipeline)
- Monitor, analyse, and report schedule status
- Undertake review and approval of Contractor schedules including baseline (and any amended baseline) validation
- Carry out Contractor schedule assurance, health and conformance to Contract requirements
- Provide schedule input for, and undertake periodically, Schedule Risk Analysis
- Responsible for Contractor Schedule/integration into Primavera P6
- The Schedule Lead will be responsible for setting up the agreed project baseline in Primavera P6
- Responsible for regular and timely collation of schedule progress data from all functions to update schedules in Primavera P6
- Develop Earned Value Management (EVM) “Rules of Credit” with Contractor commensurate with Baseline implementation
- Incorporate Contractor Earned Value Management reporting into Master Schedule
- Providing inputs into monthly and ad hoc time performance reports.
- Undertake delay analysis for claims made by Contractor, including Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events
- Ensure current forecast cost to complete is reflected in the schedule
- Provide time phased forecast costs from within the P6 schedule for upload to SAP
- Assist Project Managers with contingency management (planning, utilisation, and monitoring)
- Assist Project Managers and Contract Managers with the management of project change and change control
- Maintain master schedule which includes rolled up (Level 4) Contractor schedules
- Support the integration of P6 and SAP with the InEight Integrated Project Control (IPC) platform
**Qualifications**:
- ** Must be in Australia with full working rights**:
- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in Project Controls, Project Management or Programme Management
- Minimum 10+ years experience in Projects Controls
- Experience in Rail, Water, Utilities or other similar industries desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Schedule, Risk and Cost Management.
- Great knowledge of P6.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; persuading and influencing clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Confident and comfortable in presenting, delivering creative and persuasive presentations
- High attention to detail and strong knowledge of Project Planning and Management
